In 1992 Catharine created an artist’s atelier called Herringbroom Studio, in Duncton, West Sussex UK. Here she inspired artists by teaching painting skills, organizing lectures, student shows and workshops. Today she divides her time between Canada and England and continues to show her paintings, hold workshops and lecture in both England and Canada under the name Herringbroom Studio. Catharine is a member of Women’s Art Association of Canada, Toronto, Arts Society King, ON, Artel, UK and Gallery 1313,ON. She is represented by Partial Gallery, ON, Happy Dream Art, Moscow, Colborne Street Gallery, ON and Jordan Art Gallery, ON.

She writes “It is my intention to explore cultural colour relationships in my paintings in order to create emotional responses that are relevant to the moments I live in. Fundamental to my practice is a response to natures beauty, delicate, wild, cruel and sublime“.
